Food for Church Pantry

I just recently celebrated my 50th birthday.  Instead of gifts, I asked my friends to bring canned goods or non-perishable food items to donate to our church pantry that provides food weekly to less fortunate and homeless families in our parish.  It doesn’t necessarily have to be the church.  It can be other agencies, charities or shelters.  It has now become a part of my weekly grocery shopping.  I set aside $20 for food items to donate.  You could easily spend that amount buying take-out food. A little sacrifice goes a long way.
